China Unicom was awarded "Most Outstanding Company in Asia - Telecommunication Services Sector" & "Overall Most Outstanding Company in Hong Kong" in the "Asia's Outstanding Companies Poll 2020" organized by Asiamoney, an influential financial publication which has been the voice of the banking and capital markets industries in Asia for nearly three decades.
The Asia's Outstanding Companies Poll is designed to acknowledge the listed companies that have excelled in areas such as financial performance, management team excellence, IR activities and CSR initiatives. Over 880 fund managers, buy-side analysts, bankers and research analysts took part in the voting for public listed companies across 11 markets in Asia.

China Unicom (Hong Kong) was voted by professional investors and analysts as "Best Corporate Governance in Asia" in "Asia’s Best Managed Companies Poll 2020" organised by FinanceAsia, an authoritative financial magazine. In addition, China Unicom also swept a number of top awards in the poll, including:

The international "Astrid Awards" honors outstanding achievement in corporate design. Since the "Astrid Awards" was established in 1991, it is a famous and independent competition honoring outstanding achievement in design communications. Over 550 entries were received from 11 countries worldwide in 2020 and the Grand Awards were selected from the top scoring gold winners in each category.
China Unicom ranked 286th in "The Forbes Global 2000" for the year 2020, which screened for the world’s largest public companies in four metrics: sales, profits, assets and market value.
